Diane Von Furstenberg has got to be one of my greatest idols. 

One phrase in particular has stuck with me my entire life..

In this world of confusion, choosing what to do with the rest of your life is difficult..

It is women like Diane Von Furstenberg who truly inspire young ladies (including myself) to pursue their dreams.. whatever they may be and hope for the best.

The Hermes Birkin has become increasingly popular over the last decade with more than just its initial supporters (i.e. celebrities and the mega rich) and contributing to an ongoing battle with those who replicate these bags for capital gain. 

Although efforts have been made to stop fashion counterfeits.. the battle ensues with more people choosing to purchase replicas rather than forfeit the opportunity to carry the bag. 

But lets be honest, driving a Honda Civic.. carrying a Birkin?

Prepaaare!

It most definitely has not been your ordinary fall/winter season filled with dark and rich colours. It has been full of brights, whites and gold! I think this dress is great as a transitionary piece from winter 2012 to spring/summer 2013. Theory ($355).
